Must have a strong background in the fundamentals of programmable controllers. Must be proficient in trouble-shooting and repair techniques. Must be able to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, flow diagrams, P&ID's and construction blueprints. Estimate costs and order materials.
Must have a good working knowledge of pneumatic instrumentation controls. Analyzer knowledge is a plus. Tubing installation, field instrumentation calibration, and interlock systems.
