TIMEC Company, Inc. is seeking to place a Project Controls Engineer in Regional locations.

As a result of our continued growth and success in the Turnaround Management field, we are currently recruiting for four (4) experienced Project Controls Engineers to join our teams in Carson, California, Vallejo, California, Billings, Montana, and La Porte, Texas.

Position Requirements: The Project Controls Engineer will be responsible for the implementation of suitable project control systems, processes and procedures on site for various Turnaround contracts. These processes include estimating, planning/scheduling, tracking, forecasting and reporting relating to progress, costs, productivity and any other KPI that is required by the Turnaround Manager or the client.

Ability to demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:

• Business or Engineering Degree or similar discipline.
• 3 to 5 years experience in project controls for Turnarounds or major projects within the oil and gas, refinery or petrochemical industry.
• SAP experience desirable but not essential
• Knowledge and experience with project planning, scheduling and cost control tools such as P3, MS Project, SAP, MS Access.
• Project Management/Accounting skills including scheduling, planning, reporting, co-coordinating, budgeting, forecasting and cash management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to create relationships within the clients organization
• Strong ability to prioritize conflicting scheduling requirements within a customer service environment
• Awareness of HSE and Quality procedures and systems

This position will require 50% local travel and 15% out-of-state travel.

Successful candidate must meet all conditions of TIMEC's Drug and Alcohol testing requirements, as well as a background check, as a condition of employment. Drug/alcohol screening is administered post-offer and pre-employment.
