TIMEC Company, Inc. is seeking to place a Site Manager in our Carson, California location.

Charged with the overall responsibility of all projects being executed by any Timec company at Client's location. Directs supervisors in execution of any daily job requirements. Directs purchasing, subcontracting and administration in support of job requirements. Interacts with TIMEC Health & Safety Department and client Fire & Safety Representatives to ensure a safe work site and monitors proper compliance with all companies and regulatory requirements as well as being an active participant of the contractors safety council and continued support to improve compliance.

  • Turnaround Execution
  • Share best practices with Clients.
  • Assure that budget and schedule expectations are realistic and are achieved.
  • Assure that Client's location has all necessary resources to perform all work to meet there expectations.
  • Identify barriers and opportunities to implement best practices.
Client Relations
  • Communicate with Client's location contacts frequently to assure that all expectations are being met.
  • Assure that all expectations are defined prior to turnaround start dates and are being met.
  • Follow up with Client's contacts via a customer satisfaction survey and track results.
  • Champion change initiatives that will ultimately improve systems with in the refinery.

Safety

  • Assure that safety initiatives are being followed.
  • Assure that safety performance is consistent with TIMEC and Client's goals.
  • Provide suggestions for improvement / safety programs.
  • Assure the Client's site is sharing the near miss and best practice data reported from other Timec Sites

Quality Control

  • Assure that Client's Quality Control procedures are being utilized
  • Assure that Quality is consistent with our common goals.
  • Address quality issues and take appropriate actions to eliminate future occurrences.
  • Develop matrix and measurements for tracking rework.

Cost Reductions

  • Maintain a cost savings tracking sheet for the Client's site.
  • Document and report the value-added performance of Timec at Client's location.
  • Develop and implement incentive programs for identifying cost reductions.
  • Develop and implement cost savings ideas.
  • Develop and maintain a list of cost savings synergies and opportunities for Client's location's consideration.

Monthly measurement against established metrics:

  • Document all savings
  • Sharing and standardization of Best Practices (driving actual use)
  • Assessment and training of the workforce
  • Tracking and reporting of performance
  • Develop matrix and measurements for tracking productivity.

Human Resources

  • Provide detailed forecasting of manpower and resource availability. Share industry manpower loading for the TIMEC Companies and overall industry look ahead for T/A's and projects resource conflicts
  • Direct point of contact for all manpower requests for dispatching resources to Client's location for any TIMEC Company.

Training

  • Participate in standardized training
  • Ensure skills assessments and training programs are being fully utilized to improve overall performance, quality and skill level of the workforce.
