TIMEC renews three-year contract with BP
La Porte, Texas – Wednesday, 21 October 2009TIMEC announced today the renewal of its 17 year contract with BP for another three years. The contract had an average yearly revenue over the last five years of approximately $55 million.
TIMEC has collaborated with BP throughout their long-term relationship with a focus on delivering cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives that have resulted in more efficient operations and a range of long-term benefits to BP. The contract renewal is a reflection of the strong relationship and TIMEC’s continuing efforts to add value for BP.
TIMEC provides maintenance, turnaround and small capital works services, including specialty catalyst handling, welding and safety support services to BP West Coast Products LLC’s facility in Carson, CA.
Since the inception of the contract in 1992, TIMEC has been focused on providing safe and effective services, resulting in an increasing work scope each year.
