HRI can perform scheduled repairs on any piece of equipment. We commonly perform work on plants in the oil and gas, power generation, steel manufacturing, and mining industries. Maintenance can be scheduled during turnarounds, between turnaround periods, or on an as-needed basis. 

Whether or not units will be capable of running at full capacity during maintenance is determined on a situation-by-situation basis, but most often HRI technicians can make repairs, replacements and upgrades while equipment continues to operate at full or slightly reduced capacity. Our maintenance services can be combined with inspection and consultation services, ensuring the same qualified team of technicians services your plant year-round.

HRI can provide third-party consultations prior to and following turnarounds. These consultation may involve recommendations for inspections, which we can conduct ourselves if requested. A consultant in these areas will help you determine:

• Which High-Temperature inspection methods are best suited for the given conditions: This ensures your inspections are performed as safely as possible while you continue to operate at optimum capacity. 
• Which repairs can and should be made before turnarounds begin: Taking care of repairs and updates ahead of time means quick and successful turnarounds.
• Which repairs and updates should be slated for your upcoming turnaround, and which can be delayed: Categorizing your maintenance needs allows you to take care of the most critical and preventive matters first to avoid costly emergency repairs down the road.

Consultations Prior to Repairs and Inspections

When equipment problems arise, call HRI for repair solutions and recommendations. A repair consultation can often shorten your critical path and save you money by highlighting repair methods that take less time, require less or now power reduction, or are less intrusive.

Prior to inspections, HRI can determine which high-temperature inspection methods are best suited for the given conditions. This way, inspections are performed as safely as possible while you continue to operate at optimum capacity. Our technicians also perform risk assessments to help you create immediate and long-term repair plans. 

Maintenance & Budgetary Consultations

We can work with you to develop maintenance schedules along budgetary and time-frame guidelines. Aligning your schedules with budget considerations allows you to make the most necessary repairs and updates first, and then look to the future to coordinate preventive and maintenance measures throughout your facility.

Using sound waves, we isolate hot spots in various pieces of equipment and determine their severity. After locating hot spots, we perform risk assessments to aid in immediate repair decisions or long-term maintenance planning. 

Videotaped Inspections

In immediately dangerous to life and health {IDLH} situations and otherwise hazardous atmospheres, you can watch live video feeds of inspections and communicate directly with HRI technicians performing the inspection, directing them around equipment and toward various areas you'd like to see and investigate for yourself.
